An enthusiastic crowd sang lustily along with the three-time title-holder with the distinctive voice during his first song, "Hang 'Em High." His presentation featured a prison, a gallows and a dramatic mock hanging; complete with the masked hang man, the preacher and the hooded criminal, his twitching body left swinging from the noose at the end of the song. In his second appearance, Pungwa sang "Take De Old Clothes Off;" a song that spoke to the hypocrisy of the clergy, and the need to shed the immorality and start anew. He controlled the stage jumping, and turning and spinning as he sang, near the end ripping of his dark garments with a dramatic flourish to reveal a white suit underneath.
King Pungwa won the title back-to-back in 2001 and 2002". Ref. http://www.winnfm.com/news2.asp?NewsID=5701Press Release (31/12/11)
